DafaGames Offers Satellites to the Mahjong World Tour’s Online Championship

MANILA – October 8, 2009 – DafaGames, Asia’s No. 1 online Chinese games website, has announced that it will be partnering with the Mahjong World Tour for a series of satellite tournaments which will culminate in a grand final. The event, known as the Mahjong World Tour Satellite Series, will be open to all DafaGames players.

From September 12 to December 26, 2009, DafaGames will hold a series of weekly mahjong tournaments where the top winners will be winning seats into the Mahjong World Tour’s Online Championship. A total of 33 players will be able to win free entries into this prestigious online mahjong tournament through the satellites on DafaGames.

The Mahjong World Tour Online Championship will be an online mahjong tournament on January 2, 2010, where the top winner will win 3,200RMB. Other players who place in the top twelve win cash prizes as well, including a minimum of 1600RMB for second place. Buy-in for this tournament is 70RMB with a tournament fee of 7RMB.

In addition to this, DafaGames has an ongoing Weekly Best Hand promotion where the player who wins the highest Fan in any one game gets to win up to 500RMB.
